Your Web Studio & Photographer in Provence

Welcome to VizzyGo !

In 2002, Cédric Klapisch immersed us, with his "Auberge espagnole" (do you get it ?), in a comedy that would mark many generations who experienced this cultural mix during an ERASMUS year or during a professional expatriation.

The coincidence of life and its opportunities took me precisely that same year to Barcelona, a spanish multicultural city in the Mediterranean basin. While I was learning "Castilian", I took advantage of my "forced" sabbatical year to learn photography at IDEP Photography school and then the following year at IEFC photography school. At the same time, I updated my web knowledge that I discovered in its very early days (yes, really!) on the benches of the IUT Computer sciences school of Aix-en-Provence in the mid-90s. And yes, my first website went back to 1997 !

At this time, during my studies, I discovered in the specialized computer press, a limited offer proposing to become a beta tester in exchange for a free subscription via RTC modem (you know, it's the one that made alien noises). The French Government launched, in collaboration with Cap Gemini, its full-scale experiment called "Inforoute", the information highways. Few "Internet users" then had this privilege of testing what would become a few years later the revolutionary INTERNET network.

But let's get back to the matter at hand, in Barcelona ! The idea of a necessarily multilingual web then germinates in my projects research and gives birth to a website creation studio. My first project went live in 2005 with a multilingual and self-managed web portal for the French Institute of Barcelona.

The first step began with a benchmark of CMS (Content Management System) solutions offering multilingual and multi-user functionality. Mambo Open Source (MOS), which has since become Joomla!, ticked all the boxes, BINGO! This choice was the right one, indeed, the users quickly adopted, in an autonomous way their new web portal.

Other projects will follow using this CMS, some of which can be viewed in my portfolio.

VizzyGo, having taken a break for a few years to develop a photography activity, is relaunching its web services at the start of 2025 to offer a global Web + Photo service.
